How it works
Five steps, and four of them are ours
We start from the Google profile you already have, find the jobs your website says nothing about, and build a page for each one. Then we keep the whole thing running.
What you actually get
- A page for every job on your Google profile
- Not one page called Services with a list on it. A page each, so there is always one about the exact job somebody searched for.
- Your details matching everywhere
- The same phone number and the same address, written the same way on your site and on your profile, so there is nothing left for Google to second-guess.
- Your Google profile on the page
- Shown right there on the site, so the two visibly belong to the same business rather than just claiming to.
- Fast on a phone
- Because that is where nearly everyone will open it, and a slow page loses them before it has finished loading.
- Hosting and upkeep
- Security, updates and speed are ours to worry about. Two changes a month are included, and anything bigger than that we price for you before we start.
- 01
We read your Google profile.
Every category and every job listed on it. That profile is what Google already believes about you, so it is where we start rather than guessing.
- 02
We find what is missing.
Almost always there are jobs on your profile that your website says nothing about. Those gaps are the reason Google is unsure about you.
- 03
We build a page for every job.
Laid out the way your profile lays them out, and linked together the same way, so the two tell an identical story.
- 04
We make the two agree.
The same phone number written the same way in every place, the same address, and your Google profile shown right on the page. We also add a bit of hidden code that spells out your name, address and phone number in a format Google reads without having to guess.
- 05
We put it live and look after it.
Hosting, security and speed are ours to worry about. When your business changes, you tell us and we change the site.
What we need from you
- Photos of your work, or we use decent stock ones to start
- Your phone number, address and hours
- A list of the jobs you actually want more of
- Access to your Google profile, or ten minutes on a call to sort it
How long it takes
Usually a couple of weeks from the point we have your photos and your details. Most of that is waiting on you rather than on us, so it can be quicker if you are quick.
After it is live
We host it, keep it secure and keep it quick, and you never have to think about any of it. When your prices move or you take on a new service, you tell us and we change the site. If your Google profile changes, tell us that too, because the two only work when they keep matching.
Frequently asked questions
- Will this get me to the top of Google?
- Nobody can promise that, and anyone who does is guessing. What we can do is make sure your website is not the reason you are being passed over, which is the part that is actually in our hands.
- Is this SEO?
- Not really, and it is narrower than that. SEO usually means paying someone every month to push you up the list. This is about the people searching near you: a website built so Google, and AI like ChatGPT, are clear about what you do and the area you cover. That clarity helps, but we do not sell positions and we do not promise them.
- I already have a website. Do I need a new one?
- Sometimes we can fix what you have. Sometimes propping up a tired site costs more than replacing it. We will look and tell you honestly which one you are dealing with, even when the answer is that you do not need us.
- Someone quoted me £2,000 for a website. Why is yours £495?
- Because we are not starting from a blank page every time. We build the same way for every business, which makes it quick, and quick means cheap. The £495 is closer to a deposit than the full cost of building the site: the first few months of your £99 finish covering that, and after that the £99 is paying for hosting, security, speed and the changes you ask for. A one off quote usually leaves all of that for you to sort out separately.
- Am I tied in?
- No. There is no minimum term and no contract. Cancel any time with 30 days notice. The £495 build fee is what lets us offer that, because the build is paid for either way.
- Do I have to buy anything else from you?
- No. The website is sold on its own and works on its own. We do other things for local businesses, and you are welcome to ignore all of them.
- How many pages will I get?
- As many as your Google profile needs, which is why the one-off price starts from rather than lands on a number. A plumber with thirty jobs listed gets a bigger site than a business with six. We tell you the number before you commit.
